In the last decade, Kate Spahiu, the Managing
Director has used her business talents to help in a
variety of positions in the translation and localization
industry from Business Development and Sales to
Recruiting and Project Management in both the private
and public sectors of the economy.
In 2001, Ms. Spahiu graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from Hobart and William Smith Colleges, and in 2009 she received the Global MBA Degree from Southern New Hampshire University. After graduation, Ms. Spahiu worked as a NATO linguist in Southeastern Europe serving the military and intelligence communities. In this position, she received numerous letters of commendation from high ranking officers, and the NATO Medal of Service. In the United States, she managed language contracts in Iraq and Afghanistan in support of the Global War on Terrorism for private corporations. Ms. Spahiu holds a Top Secret Clearance with the Department of Defense and is a Certified Notary Public in the State of North Carolina.
She is fluent in English, Albanian, and Spanish, with intermediate knowledge in French and Italian. Ms. Spahiu is a published author and frequent contributor to the Albanian Community. Her hobbies include spending time with the family, traveling, reading, and foreign languages.
